The intent seems pretty cut and dry to me.
It's amusing how judges who uphold the constitution against the repubs are political but those who judge in favour of them are upholding the "spirit" of the constitution.

No. The problem is when the law gets in the way of slobbering over Jesus' shiny c*ck...
You want to suck up to your imaginary friends - do it on your own property, dumb-asses. It's really THAT simple.

Chad seems to forget that the "original intent" of the framers of the constitution was to enshrine slavery in this country. Things have changed, Chad. Sorry for you.

Chad seems not to have a clue that no one in this country has a clue what the "original intent" of the framers was, with respect to a great many things.
Usually "original intent" is code for people who think that the SCotUS should have no power at all to determine that others may not be left out of the protections written by and for the slaveholding white men, originally.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
