And if you land directly on go you get $400.

Wow, way to demonstrate rapid inflation and devalue the monopoly dollar! Why don't you just have a "print your own money" option too? Wink You are going to turn your monopoly game into a third world country compared with all other monopoly games and be begging for assitance from other households while your players are wallpapering their tarpaper shacks with their worthless currency. Way to go E! May you permanently lose your thimble.

I also put 100 buck on each corner and the first to land on them gets them. If you land on a RR and that person has other RRs then you can use the money paid to get a ride (passing go doesn't count of course) to one of the others owned. We also double Electric company and WW because otherwise they're useless. Sometimes we play speed trap and allow players a once per turn choice to roll both dice or a single dice. We also like to trade freely with free passes X number of times instead of payment. I don't know if I could play by normal rules anymore... it would seem slow and confining I think.

I prefer stratego to risk, more brain less dice, IMO.

whats that russian checkers variant where you set it all up, then proceed to violently flick checkers across the board at each other? It's so very russian, it has to get a nod.

I have an unhealthy fascination with all things board game.
