There are a couple of big issues with it being a surviving loophole... takebacksies, staff tag, backlog other person's quote changes... the problem with handling this with only policy would be that if there's nothng that traks evry edt dne: it wuld be ridicsly hrd to polce.
But yeah, heh. It sure does open up a lot of good c for entment, for the obsvant. Asualty of no-takebksie!

If it's in the "humour" section, there should be no issues? It will only work if quoting is not allowed.
I ask what's your favourite animal? You say dalmation, I change my post to "what's your favourite animal you want to do "things" with?
Then within the 2 hour edit period, you change your original answer to "Brad Pitt" or "Dracula" or something to suit your tastes.
Then I change my question again ....bla bla ...But then we're stuck with our final answers/questions for all eternity!
You can be sure that I'll be sniping with 3 seconds to go though! And you could get stuck with Brad Pitt on your face!

I have also noticed a much higher incidence of double posts. Not sure what's going on there, either.
A musician's forum I post at has this problem occasionally. Over there it has been a result of heavy traffic overworking the server. They run on vBulletin. Maybe that'll help?
