Of course.

The plot is too outlandish for my taste. I do like some fantasy, but I find HP Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgson much more believable tbh.

The characterization is also poor- very formulaic, really. The various prophets come and go, and theres nothing much that distinguishes one from another.

But at least in the KJV the use of language is wonderful.

If the christians abandon the KJV in favour of 'better' translations then they'll be stuck with a book thats got a crap plot, bad characterization and is poorly written as well.
