The (white) sheriff says the guy who was arrested without cause was not racially profiled.  I guess that settles that, huh cop lovers?

Bennett's attorney, John Burris in Oakland, California told the Associated Press that he thinks the video evidence supports Bennett’s account. ""He was not acting suspicious. He was not involved in any criminal activity. There's nothing to go on, no description, other than you see this big black man running," the attorney said. "He was running like everyone else, trying to get away."

Brooklyn teen identifies one of the NYPD cops accused of sexually assaulting her after arrest on drug charge

The Brooklyn  teen who accused two NYPD detectives of sexually assaulting her after cuffing her for a drug charge identified one of the officers in a photo lineup — but he still hasn’t been arrested, the victim’s lawyer said Saturday.

Attorney Michael David, who represents the 18-year-old, said another witness to the teen’s arrest also identified the officer.

Cops don't arrest other cops, it seems.

Miami police union head exploits Las Vegas massacre to bash NFL protesters

According to the New Times, Ortiz was asked to explain the tweet, with the Miami cop replying by text message, “While NFL players express a false perception of police officers by inciting hate and division by disrespecting the U.S. flag, the reality is law enforcement risks their lives every day for America.”

While average citizens risk their lives as the potential target of crazed shitheads with automatic weapons thanks to the NRA and their scumbag politician pals, black citizens run the added risk of their mere presence inciting some cop who has OD'd on donuts whipping out his substitute pecker and blowing them away for a broken tail light.

It seems as if many of these cops, so publicly disturbed by being associated with brutality and oppression....are angrier at those who point out that we have a problem than they are at their fellow officers who -are- the problem.

That's our new normal, I guess. People who oppose the abuse of authority are villains, just as leakers.... rather than the contents of the leaks..... should be prosecuted.

Male inmates at Alaska’s Spring Creek Correctional Center were “sexually harassed” as punishment and forced to be walked naked on “dog leashes” in front of female staff, a New York Times report reveals.

A state government watchdog investigated the allegations at the maximum-security prison in Seward, Alaska after an inmate filed a complaint. In that probe, they found that 12 prisoners were “taken from their cells for reasons that were never officially explained, moved to a different location, unshackled and ‘ordered to strip naked in front of female staff.'”
