Probably extraneous..but, the whole idea of a noise complaint is foreign to me. If a cop wants to get shot to a soundtrack.....CCR belting out Bad Moon Rising, by all means...show up at my place at o-dark thirty in your poorly armored car wearing a clay vest.
Then again...I'm the right shade of lipstick. I feel well within my rights 24/7.

That's the crux of the problem right there. These people don't know or care how to deescalate a situation. Obey or get pounded. Assault doesn't count if you're a cop, unless you have wads of money to force the system to punish the individual.

There needs to be a support group for perpetually frightened police officers.

Or at least billboards that give a list of all the jobs more dangerous than being a police officer, and at the bottom telling them to stop using the "feared for my life" excuse.
