One Washington Post writer examined all of the drug warrants served by the Little Rock Police Department over the past few years and discovered that more than 100 since 2016 were illegal.

Oh, what a surprise this is!

“I’ve also reviewed more than 100 search warrants executed by the unit since 2016,” Balko wrote. “According to policing and Fourth Amendment experts, these interviews and warrants show that the LRPD narcotics cops and SWAT teams are routinely violating the Fourth Amendment rights of Little Rock residents. They’re also putting people at unnecessary risk. And there’s strong evidence that, in some cases, officers have made demonstrably false statements under oath.”

Wisconsin cops smash into black woman’s car with guns drawn after she arrives early to job interview: lawsuit

A Wisconsin woman showed up early one morning for a job interview when a police cruiser smashed into her vehicle and officers jumped out with guns drawn.
Robin Anderson said she feared for her life as officers ordered her to crawl over broken glass and out of her car, and then handcuffed her, reported the Journal Sentinel.
“Don’t move or they’ll shoot you,” Anderson told herself.
Glendale police later blamed the incident on a case of mistaken identity, and the department apologized to Anderson’s father and paid to replace her broken window, but not the dents in her car.

Mistaken identity?  I'd say so.

Police were looking for four black men suspected in a string of robberies at cell phone stores in the area, and they were allegedly driving a Hyundai Elantra — a different model than Anderson’s car.

Officers also had a specific license plate number, which did not match Anderson’s, and no women were believed to be with the suspects.

“The only thing Anderson had in common with the thieves is that she is also African-American,” said attorney Mark Thomsen, who filed the lawsuit. “Had Anderson been white this would not have happened.”

I guess as far as the pigs are concerned all blacks do like alike!

Mississippi deputies detained family for hours and threatened to deport them for ‘driving while Latino’

Marcos and Stephanie Martinez were driving in Mississippi with their three children, his mother and sister, and a family friend June 3, 2017, when a Hancock County sheriff’s deputy pulled over their van, reported the Clarion Ledger.
Stephanie Martinez and her children are U.S. citizens, and her husband, who is originally from Mexico, has permanent status as a U.S. resident.
The Southern Poverty Law Center and the Mississippi Center for Justice filed a lawsuit Wednesday against five sheriff’s deputies and Hancock County that claims the family’s civil rights were violated through unlawful search and seizure and racial discrimination.

Black security guard stops shooter in a bar — then gets gunned down by cop who mistook him for criminal

A black security guard this weekend prevented a potential mass shooting at the bar where he worked — and was then gunned down by an Illinois police officer who mistook him for a criminal.

Roberson returned fire on the man and managed to subdue him and pin him to the ground.

However, when a Midlothian, Illinois police officer showed up on the scene, he opened fire and killed Roberson because he thought Roberson was the true assailant.
“Everybody was screaming out, ‘he was a security guard,’ and they basically saw a black man with a gun and killed him,” witness Adam Harris tells WGN TV.

Fear not.  I'm sure they'll bring in another bunch of pigs to "investigate" the first pig.
