An Arizona family has filed a notice paving the way for a lawsuit against the Gilbert Police Department after officers stormed their home and Tasered a family member at least seven times, causing his heart to stop while he was in the midst of a PTSD panic attack, reports ABC15.
According to the family of Kyle Cardenas, they called the VA Crisis Hotline in September and requested a crisis team be sent to their home when their son began suffering from delusions.
What they received instead were officers from the Gilbert Police Department despite specifically asking that no police be sent.

Without video of the incident it is just their word against that of the lying cops.

California deputy accused of bribing witnesses who saw colleagues beating unarmed man

A veteran police officer accused of bribing witnesses in the brutal beating of a man has been placed on leave during an investigation of the “horrific” allegation, a San Francisco Bay Area sheriff said on Tuesday.

This is the third officer to be placed on leave in connection with the beating last November, which caused a sensation after security camera video of the incident went viral.

Chicago police union’s new janitor is an officer charged with murder for shooting black teen

Father Michael Pfleger, a priest and social activist, told Reuters that he was outraged by the hiring.

“In my mind, this is absolutely unacceptable,” Pfleger said. “This is why the bridge between police and community is so destroyed now. If I hired at my church a guy who was indicted and awaiting trail for killing a police officer, they would be tearing me up.”

They DO think they are above the law.

New police scandal tarnishes San Francisco’s image as a liberal bastion

Elected leaders and the police brass quickly and forcefully denounced the officers involved and promised reform. But even as the city attempted to clean up the mess, another group of at least four San Francisco police officers was exchanging text messages that mocked the community response to the scandal, used racist slurs and denigrated LGBT people.

The revelation last week of that second batch of bigoted text messages has prompted another round of recrimination between city leaders and again raised the question: how can this be happening in liberal San Francisco?

Liberals are not attracted to police work.  That's for racist conservatards.  Hence the continuing problems.
