Sadly, it is. There must be many (hopefully most) who are legit'll doing the best job they can but they have got to stop supporting the bad apples if they want us to go on believing that.

I'm sure there are plenty who would not act that way themselves.  BUT.  When they see colleagues act crazy they reflexively back up their stories... and at that point they cease to be "good cops" in my view.

Every time that happens.....the courts should be flooded with appeals from convicts for a similar reduction of charges and sentence. Every, single, time. Every single convict. It could be automated. Bet they'd stop doing it.
