Police chased a 10-year-old black boy with guns drawn after mistaking him for an adult armed robbery suspect.
Legend Preston had been playing with a basketball that rolled into the street near his home in Newark, and he chased after it, reported WABC-TV.
Police officers approached with their weapons drawn, and the husky fifth-grader thought they were after him for going into the street — so the boy fled in terror.
“I ran because they thought that I rolled the ball into the street on purpose, and they were just holding shot guns at me trying to shoot me,” Legend said.

Homeowner calls police and grabs gun after robbery — and Indianapolis cops shoot him on arrival

Officers were called shortly after 4:30 a.m. to a robbery call at a home in the Warren Woods neighborhood, reported the Indianapolis Star.

The homeowner opened his garage door when officers arrived, and they found him standing inside armed with a gun.

Other residents of the neighborhood, which is 59 percent black according to U.S. Census records, said the shooting was outrageous.

“I think that’s really crazy,” said resident Angela Parrott, who has lived in the neighborhood for about a year. “What do we have, trigger-happy police officers out here now?”

Yes.  That is exactly the problem.

No charges for New Jersey cop who fatally shot black man Jerame Reid — who had his hands up

The charging decision follows a $1.5 million tentative settlement agreement Reid’s family reached about a month ago with the city of Bridgeton and the officers.

And the taxpayers get ass-raped again because of trigger happy cops.

APD cop kicks and punches a black suspect while he’s already pinned to the ground

Of particular interest here are the actions of Officer Richard Garcia, who arrived on the scene shortly after his fellow officers had stopped Alford and had brought him to the ground.

Immediately after walking up to Alford, Garcia gives the suspect a swift kick to the head. He then proceeds to punch him in the head and elbow him in the back several times — all while he’s still lying on the ground and has appeared to have surrendered.

But equal justice under the law, right 'Murrica?

The New York Daily News notes that under a plea deal reached this past May, Garcia “pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault and was spared jail time” and “was given probation, community service and told to stay away from Alford and donate $500 to charity.”

LAPD Chief Charlie Beck had tried to keep video of the incident under wraps, although he did condemn the officer’s actions.

Imagine the sentence if the suspect had kicked a cop in the head while he was laying on the ground!

No wonder they tried to cover it up.

Chicago police: Trump lied about ‘top’ cop telling him ‘tough tactics’ could end crime within a week

Now it seems Trump has flat-out fabricated an encounter he supposedly had with a “top” Chicago police officer.
NBC Chicago is reporting that the Chicago Police Department is pushing back on Trump’s claim that a “top” Chicago cop told him that the city’s violence could be stopped in a week if he were allowed to employ unspecified “tough police tactics.”
“We’ve discredited this claim months ago,” CPD spokesperson Frank Giancamilli said in a statement. “No one in the senior command at CPD has ever met with Donald Trump or a member of his campaign.”

Donald seems to have an alternate reality loop playing in his head.
