Can you imagine if the guy or his wife ran to the phone, and called 911 about this? Because a group of armed men were in their yard, and wouldn't identify themselves. Then you get even more police on the scene. Would be funny if they just started shooting at each other.

The officer will remain on paid administrative leave until an internal investigation wraps up, but the investigation will not begin until he recovers from his injuries and is released to work by a doctor.

That's wrong on at least three different levels. Sop rearends a woman going 94, charged woman with homicide when he kills her kid, and then they're going to stall an investigation until he recovers and goes back to work. As if he should be going anywhere but prison after he gets out of the hospital.

You can bet your ass they didn't do a DUI test on him either.  I guess they are waiting for that, too.

The latest city resident to cash in on police misconduct would raise a glass to toast his victory, except he doesn’t drink.
The NYPD found that out the hard way when cops tried to charge Oliver Wiggins with driving while intoxicated to cover up for a police officer who ran a marked SUV through a Brooklyn stop sign and plowed into Wiggins’ car.

And the fucking cops?

No charges have been filed against the cops. All of the officers involved are still employed by the department.

Yup.  'Murrican justice.

Woman Says Fort Lauderdale Cops Beat Her After She Testified in Brutality Case

In 2015, Jessica Mooney sat next to her fiancé at a Fort Lauderdale bus terminal as he filmed Fort Lauderdale Police Officer Victor Ramirez slapping a homeless man in the face. The following year, Ramirez was charged with misdemeanor battery and arrested, and Mooney testified against the cop in court.

Just two weeks after she incriminated the officer, Mooney says, Ramirez's fellow cops wrongfully arrested her outside the Quarterdeck Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, brutally beat her, threw her to the ground, and ultimately sent her to the emergency room.
