New Jersey sheriff caught on tape complaining about ‘the blacks’ and Sikh AG’s ‘turban’

In a leaked audio recording, Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino of New Jersey can be heard making several racist remarks about black people and state Attorney General Gurbir Grewal, who happens to be the first Sikh to hold the office.

WNYC, which obtained the recording, reports that New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has called on Saudino to resign because of the recording, which includes disparaging references to “the blacks” and Grewal’s “turban.”

Bergen Co., for those who don't know, is not some hick-ridden part of NJ.  It is a suburb of NYC.

Dallas cop Amber Guyger fired after gunning down innocent black man in his own apartment

The Dallas Police officer who shot her neighbor dead while claiming she thought his apartment was hers was fired from the force, the department announced Monday.

An internal Affairs investigation concluded that Officer Amber Guyger “engaged in adverse conduct when she was arrested for Manslaughter.”

Meanwhile, senator Sleaze said:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) had argued Guyger shouldn’t be fired during a Texas senate debate with his challenger, Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX).

What happens to police departments that collect more fines? They solve fewer crimes.

Alongside the Black Lives Matter movement in the past several years, civil rights advocates have begun pointing out that the way municipalities collect fees and fines often disproportionately affects low-income communities of color, especially when those communities aren’t well represented in local governments. In 2015, as a follow-up to investigations of police bias in Ferguson, Mo., the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department released the Ferguson report, which painstakingly documents how the police department in that city relied overwhelmingly on fees and fines collected from people in ways that “both reflect and exacerbate existing racial bias.”

But here’s another result of fee and fine enforcement that has never before been measured: Police departments that collect more in fees and fines are less effective at solving crimes.

Some communities have a saying: “The police are never there when you need them and always there when you don’t.” Our findings help explain this adage. In cities where police are collecting revenue, communities are at once overpoliced — because they are charged with more fines and fees — and underpoliced — because serious crimes in their areas are less likely to be solved.

Nashville Police Officer Faces Homicide Charge in Killing of a Black Man

A white police officer in Nashville who fatally shot a black man who was running away from him was charged with criminal homicide on Thursday, officials said.

In video of the July 26 shooting, which prosecutors released last month, Officer Andrew Delke of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department can be seen chasing the man, Daniel Hambrick, and firing several rounds at him from behind.

Their defense is essentially:  The nigger had it coming.

“Tennessee law permits a police officer to use deadly force when there is a danger to others,” he said. “Officer Delke was protecting himself, his backup officers and the public.”

That's how a jury of fucking rednecks will see it.

Mesa police Officer Nathan Sund punched Christian Topete as he sat on a couch in his apartment. Later, another officer explained to Topete that he was punched because he attacked Sund first.

Footage released Thursday by Mesa police indicates that Topete did not attack Sund or his partner, Officer Kristen Johnson.

Jason Van Dyke Is Guilty of Murder in the Death of Laquan McDonald

The white Chicago police officer who fired 16 shots into Laquan McDonald, a black teenager, is guilty of second-degree murder, a jury said Friday.

The defendant, Jason Van Dyke, became the first Chicago police officer convicted of murder for an on-duty shooting in nearly 50 years. His case has been followed closely in this city since dashboard camera video of the shooting was released in 2015.

Now we'll see if the judge sentences him to probation.

Cleveland Officer Who Killed Tamir Rice Is Hired by an Ohio Police Department

The Bellaire Police Department, which patrols a community of about 4,000 just opposite the Ohio River from West Virginia, announced on Friday that the officer, Timothy Loehmann, had joined the force in a part-time position. The department’s chief said he had no concerns about hiring Officer Loehmann, who was not charged in Tamir’s death but who was fired last year after a Cleveland Police Department investigation into the shooting uncovered that he had lied on his job application.

Apparently the city of Bellaire has 12 year olds who need killing and this fucking pig was the only suitable candidate!
