Is anyone else surprised that this wasn't already a rule? I have assumed it is one ever since I joined here in 2008.
I guess I just assumed it was because it's a rule most places, and only decent. I am guessing someone broke this rule only recently or something. Shame on them, the possible hypothetical person, whether this was previously a rule or not - posting private messages without permission is an awful thing to do, at least IMO.
I had always assumed it was a rule, yeah.
