Supreme Court Cases

They have two cases coming up that are controversial. The Texas abortion law that places stricter requirements on clinics and their physicians and the affirmative action case where a white person is suing a Texas college for discrimination based on race.

Anyone have any opinions. Mine, the abortion clinic/staff requirement law is to restrictive. The discrimination law suit is a joke.

Fisher's case has already been to the SC and was rejected. Now she's going back for a second bite at the apple? Last time they remanded the case to the appellate court and told them to closely examine they standards. They did and still told her to go fuck herself.

I could not find an article that ever said which race. Based on TX demographics I'm guessing Sumatran.

abortion rights are on the table again? holy sh@!, is this the 70's or has the US turned into the theocratic state of Galilea since i've been abroad? I really hope these doomsday christians are, in fact, right about being beamed up to heaven/the twilight zone someday, leaving the rest of us on Earth. Also this white girl is too much.. I almost thought the article was a hoax, it's so outrageous.. especially since the journalist advocating her position is named, "Weiss". Wish I could peak at her admissions essay... lol, sorry, but if you're the kind of person who would actually announce to the world something like, "Show me to any closet, and I would've happily come out of it [to get admission]... (starting a charity), collecting donations for the underprivileged chimpanzees of the Congo" (SIC!!!!!), i think your racial ethnicity is the least of your problems.
