(October 10, 2015 at 3:59 pm)Stimbo Wrote: There's a line in the original Dawn of the Dead - the god of all undead movies - that addresses the cannibalism issue. A professor on TV says something to the effect of "they aren't cannibals - cannibals eat their own kind. These ghouls eat humans; they don't eat each other."

George A Romero... the owner of all modern horror cinema.
When you think about it zombies have it made.  They don't get sick.  They don't have to work.  They don't have any bosses or nagging spouses or whiny kids.  They don't have to pay any bills.  They don't worry about money or material possessions.  They don't worry about how they look.  They don't get upset over missing body parts.  They don't fight about religion, race, or politics.  They are weather-proof for the most part.  They are fearless.  With all of those attributes they would make good followers of Jesus.

I'd go with a vampire apocalypse too, but I'd think vampires more along the lines of The Strain....
