Oh so many things.
build a sustainable, off-grid, green house...with a rooftop garden and outdoor kitchen, in Montreal. get involved in some way with issues confronting First Nations start some sort of initiative improving relations between Francos and Anglos set up a professional sewing studio, hire an instructor, and start designing my own clothes set up a recording studio, learn to use it, and start recording music. set up multiple organizations to help animals...dog rescue, raptor conservation, cetaceans, moose (research how to address the snow-tick problem), caribou, wolves, sharks, elephants, Polar Bears, etc. Do something in Accessible Media Do something in Canadian film, esp. with Francophone or First Nations directors. Finish the program I'm currently in and then either take Law or Engineering. Maybe both. Swim with Manta Rays Maybe see the Polar Bears of Churchill, Manitoba, from the Tundra Buggy: Go to the North Pole and look for a Narwhal Go to Iceland and learn about their green, sustainable building and energy methods Go to Finland and stay in the glass-roof igloo rooms in Hotel Kakslauttanen to lay in bed and watch the Aurora Borealis: Tour Canada, the USA, especially see the Giant Sequoia trees, Yosemite and Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Death Valley, the Bonneville Salt Flats; and I'd like to stay in Giraffe Manor in Kenya, too: I'd go and poke round the old WWII Maunsell Sea Forts in the Thames estuary: visit the Galapagos, visit Easter Island, visit Australia and New Zealand, maybe hold a baby platypus: ...and buy Habs season tickets, of course. I'm not adverse to borrowing money to buy more land, but the right deal needs to come along. I know it seems unAmerican to not be in debt up to my eyeballs, but there are some advantages, I don't have to borrow money to plant next years crop. I don't have coupon books for cars and pickups and tractors and such. I have modest needs and desires, not into expensive vacations, my pickup is 3 years old, but aside from cruise, AC and a nicer radio it has very few options, not even On-Star. I pissed away quite a bit of cash on addictions and legal troubles, nice that hasn't been an issue for a while. As for not having to deal with bankers and loan officers, it's a sense of freedom. And relief. I do have 1 credit card, and I use it heavily but pay it off every month. It's a handy thing with the farm needing stuff and my not having time to run to the city to get it, I just go to Ebay. I probably spend high 4 figures on Ebay every year. Tractor parts, bug dope, parts for the 4 wheeler, garage door parts, there is quite a bit to keeping the farm running. Spending one entire day running around the city to get one hydraulic cylinder seal isn't an effective use of my time when I can do it in 5 minutes on Ebay. LOL, I carry a wad of cash too. It's just easier. Cash can still solve problems nothing else can. Just a few days ago, I was getting my flu shot, and the paper work for the insurance was taking too much time. I looked at the guy and said, "the shot is $20, let's forget the insurance and I'll just pay cash." I was on my way in 5 minutes. I've left the house without checks before, if I'm in line at MallWart and realize I don't have any checks, PRAISE JESUS !!, they still take cash. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I'd keep 100K,
* 20K to a debt * 50K for surgical fun * 15K to live out the rest of this year comfortably * 15K for personal safety net next year. And I'd give the rest (900K) away. Knowing me... not in that order... But repaying my debts is very important to me. Everything else for me is negotiable. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

I believe I have answered this question on here before.
A million dollars. I am not ashamed to admit that I would not give it to charity. After all, what has charity done for me? I would most likely use it in a way to ensure I never have to work another day. If it was more than one million, say ten million, then I would consider giving to charity. After all, what would I need with ten million? One million would suffice to last me the rest of my life.

Go on a two week bender, pay off the debts and then fo back to work.

I'd be getting whisked away on a holiday to New Zealand by my wife, who is absolutely desperate to take me there. We hope it will happen one day There is so much amazing natural beauty and incredible, precious animals waiting for us.
I'd generally be incredibly relieved to finally not have to worry every month about if we're going to have enough left to pay the bills and feed ourselves and our pets. We would help out some of the struggling smaller animals charities which do incredible work but are always fighting bankruptcy. Feel free to send me a private message.
