Once again: atheism is the non belief in deities - any deities, not just the Abrahamic one.

I also don't believe in Ahura Mazda, Odin, Zeus, Osiris, or any of the other millions of gods humans have invented over the years.

There are atheists who claim that there are no gods, but those are few and far between.

Why don't I believe in any of these deities?

- The fact that there is no verifiable evidence for any of them
- The contradictory nature of many of the religious claims

Umm....somewhere along the road I realized despite all my trying that I never bumped into any god. That kind of automatically made me an atheist. I tried to resist because I didn't like it, but the more I tried to believe the more I noticed the overwhelming lack of evidence.
