Atheists, Do You Hope You are Right?

RE: Atheists, Do You Hope You are Right?
I do not "hope" I'm right. Hope does not enter into this subject.

Although I do wish, that religious people got to realize that they were wrong. Which they - in all probability - won't, because that's how death works.

When you die high on smack - you don't have to worry about the come-down...

RE: Atheists, Do You Hope You are Right?
Do I hope I'm right that millions of theists all telling me they have a relationship with "God", and all reporting different things about its most basic properties, is good evidence that they are imagining it?

I don't care. I'm not altering my life for any celestial voyeur, nor am I bowing to any weird tyrant. I'd rather there wasn't an utter psycho in charge of everything, but that's a personality Christianity and Islam have imposed on "God" and nothing to do with reality. If there is such a psycho, there's not much I can do about it.

As Ignor says, I'm sure Kevin is fine.

The answer can be found in the fine print, I know, I know, nobody reads the fine print
