And it's funny (but typical) of the Christers wanting to rework marriage now to disenfranchise the gays that they have absolutely no intention, no matter how successful their attempt is, to legislate Jesus prime marriage directive Mark 10:11.

And of course, their unwillingness to do that, despite it being a direct imperative from Jesus Himself(!!), is how we know the entire point of their protest isn't that the definition of marriage Christ gave them isn't the law and they think it should be, it's all about their prejudice against gays.  If it was about their religious beliefs, then they would be proposing the specific Jesus defined version of marriage;
