my english is not that good and its not my mother tongue so forgive me if there is any mistakes in the way am talking
I disagree... your English speech is rather understandable (by me at least). Paul seems to be complaining about your use of numbers and acronyms in place of english characters (such as '4' for 'for')... but don't mind him ^_<

Misconceptions About Islam

Heheh. Yes. My complaint is that you use 'u' instead of 'you' and 'r' instead of 'are', and so on. It actually makes what you type more difficult to decipher. I've never understood the point of shortening such short words down to a single letter. But, as I said... that's my problem. You type any way you wish.

Learning to write correctly no matter how you speak aloud used to be very important in English education, text messages have killed that.
I've seen far too much material confirming these stereotypes, from a man mutilating and controlling his wife to men offering camels as currency for women. The only religion I ever accept is Buddhism, no gods, no materialistic attitudes, celebrating existence. The rest are sick and wrong.
I don't know if you want to discuss this on a separate thread Mo3, but do you consider death for kaffirs (kufr) to be a misconception?

I'm going to stick up for mo3 a little here. This link shows what he is talking about. The Qur'an itself does not condone making war against anyone unless they attack you first. Just as with the bible(s), verses are often taken out of context and appear to condone violence, but placed in context, that violence is supposed to only be in self defense.
Liberal / Progressive / Moderate Muslims face the same problem that Christians face. Extremism. Just as there are extremist Christians that chant "God Hates Fags" at certain funerals, or blow up abortion clinics... there are extremist Muslims that take Jihad against the infidels very literally and justify it by claiming that we (the Western Devils) started it. The extremism in the Muslim religion is far more 'extreme' than it is in Christianity, but it wasn't always that way. Christianity was once the scourge of the earth, responsible for some of the worst atrocities in history. Islam is simply behind the times. All three of the 'holy books' can be interpreted to support almost anything you want if you get creative enough with your interpretations. mo3... We do not hold misconceptions about this. Maybe the religion does not specifically condone terrorism or the mass murder of innocents... but it is being done in the name of Islam. That is a simple fact. My question to you is this... what can those like you do about it? Will these extremists listen to you if you ask them to stop? Can you civilize them?
@Paul the Human ok you may have no misconception about that because you read by yourself and i see that you made some searches but just look to the post before you lool
i prefer to open in new thread for the sake of others too as am not talking about terrorism only i will talk a little also about war and violance
NEWS FLASH!!
No one here has...sorry pumpkin but the one thing that I have observed is that peeps on this forum have no misconceptions regarding any religious dogma as they have researched them all extensively.
