Standing unopposed, its possible things could have turned out far worse by mid century.

Although I'd also have to consider the fact that Hitler ruined a perfectly good style of mustache for everyone.

YES!!! I would kill that sucker!! I would take Hitler baby out of it's crib then shake it faster and faster so that Hitler baby's neck loosens and his head, where those stupid fucking mustaches will once grow, falls off on the floor. Then I would kick Hitler baby's head on the floor and play soccer with it. Then I would take out his lungs, flatten them and make a jacket out of them. Then use bare Hitler baby's ribs and play Hava Nagila tune on them...

You could just go back to WW1 when that British soldier had him at his mercy and say "Henry, you need to reconsider... he's going to kill 6 million Jews if you don't..."

But seriously the question is not that you can choose where you can go in time but given a chance to kill baby Hitler.

I mean who knows if some of those baddies were born in normal families might be just like anyone else

Of course, you'd have to weigh that against the way the world could potentially turn out without Hitler's influence. We wouldn't necessarily find ourselves in a better situation, because changing history is an utterly chaotic preposition.

I figure that even if you traveled back in time only to stand in one place for a few seconds, it's possible the simple redistribution of air molecules that result could eventually snowball into something dramatic.

No matter how minute your influence is or how cautious you are, I figure it will invariably grow as time passes.

I figure time travel into the past ought to be impossible. It breaks so many rules.
