Man, you got it going off, Stimbo. You are the cheese wiz at this.

Communicate using clichés only!

Picture in your mind's eye what I might be capable of once I take the kid gloves off.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Wow. I see what you mean. Clear as day it is. But then you always were a straight shooter and honest as the day is long.
Simple as pie, really. All down hill. Shooting fish in a barrel, taking candy from a baby or even falling down.
Must have a lot of time on you hands, Stimbo. Working hard or hardly working?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue
That's the rub isn't it? Cutting right to the heart of the burning issue has always been my bag, given a level playing field of course. I just feel in my bones that, for my money, this is a whole different ballgame of two halves. And while you can't please some of the people all of the time, playing to the gallery will in all probability yield dividends like there's no tomorrow. This could be an untapped goldmine, with cool heads at the tiller.

We must fight fire with fire in these dark days of wine and roses, taking solace that quitters never win fair lady nor come to the sudden realisation that the proof of the pudding is at the end of the tunnel, at the drop of a hat, for anyone with an axe to grind; and forge ahead through these troubled waters until we get to the promised land of milk and two sugars. Only then can we lay down our burden, rest on our laurels and hardly bear thinking about a tough job well done. Don't that beat all ? The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Couldn't beat that with a stick even if you played it like a tin drum.
You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool Mom.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

It sure as hell scares the hell out of me, I'm a total scaredy cat after Stim pulled the rug from underneath my feet. I feel a couple of pencils short of a pencil case. I feel like a dead man walking walked all over by a walking pencil: I would say I could care less but I'm British and I couldn't care less for saying "I could care less". I feel completely bent out of shape. I see this thread and then when Mr. Stim pops in all hell breaks loose: And all others paled in comparison!
I mean I know that all's fair in love and war but this just takes the biscuit. I feel all bits to pieces and all that jazz. What a kefuffle. After that ace in Stim's hole (which was also the ace up his sleeve) I feel we all kicked the bucket at the drop of a hat. I'm at an absolute wits end down to the very last minute. Has Stim got an Ax to grind? Can we come back from the dead? Well I think it's time for us to peddle to the meddle regardless of whether we're having a bad hair day or not. Because I feel absolutely bad to the bone but if he pulls another one over on me then my bags are packed and ready to go. I feel like I've had my little turtely back against the wall: and I've got the blues. Stim's Cliche posts are the absolute bee's knees, the cat's pajamas, the dog's bollocks and the mutt's nuts. I feel absolutey balls to the wall but now the balls back in his court. I'm not playing games here. |
