So too were the aliens at one stage.
What fucks that up for me is the shared endogenous retrovirus info in our dna.
Oh, well, back to my boring existence... Yum, homemade ravioli is ready! Who said life sucks!

THATS FROM THE X FILES!! They talk about how we are all aliens to this world!

Explains a lot when you think about it.

All life - Expansion of the Sun following Helium Fusion.
Humans - At this point the money is on stupidity, if we survive long enough to colonise other bodies we'll reassess.
If we run into aliens, stupidity comes back into play.

"How do you think life on earth will end?" No Idea

Life, but not as we know it, will probably not die out until the sun's output makes it too warm for life (even extremophiles).

No species has ever lived forever; all have died out to be replaced by other species. Mostly this has happened in what has been called mass extensions some of which have killed off up to 95% of all life at those times. There is a better than gross chance homo-sapiens will die off as a product of another mass extension long before the sun has a chance to eliminate our species.

There is also a better than even chance (my estimate) Faints  we will be replaced by another species more or less intelligent than us.

In any case the sun is expected to run for another 4 billion years before expanding.

I agree with vorlon13; when I die the universe will cease to exist.  Thinking

Many people seem to be ignoring what me and Anamalocaris have posted: While the sun may last for another 4-5 billion years, it will have grown too hot for life on Earth in as little as 500 million years.

As far as humanity goes, there are only two possibilities: We will be long extinct by that time or we will have evolved to the point where we would be indistinguishable from gods. Either way, we won't have any use for this planet by that time.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I seen a lot of things like global warming, over population and even the sun going to a red giant phase and scorching the earth - what do you think will most likely happen? I personally kinda always felt like mankind is its worst enemy and I heard lotta people say that as soon as even our grand children the earth may no longer be able to sustain life for humans because of pollution and damage to the ozone. A part of me kinda wants the earth to be destroyed cus some really fucked up things have happened on this place and I think it would be most beautiful for all life to cease and just have this giant ball of history just continuing its orbit around the sun indefinitely.

also they say every star in the sky represents a solar system just like ours, do you think there is life on other planets out there somewhere? I kinda feel like odds are there is,  at the very least I would bet that single celled organisms exist somewhere out there.

Hey we finally found life oh they want to visit us let's ping them our location
