The difference between people who describe themselves as 'religious' and those who describe themselves as 'spiritual' seems to be largely a practical one. I've never heard of SBNR types burning crosses on peoples' lawns, and they've certainly never showed up at my front door of a Sunday morning to ask me if I've heard the good news. I'm OK with that.
