Feeling relieved that my pinkeye has been diagnosed as probably nothing serious.
Also quietly optimistic... got a weird letter about surgery this morning. I rang up thinking it was a mistake, as I've not heard anything about this. Apparently it isn't. I've been put forward by my specialist for consideration. If they could operate and sort out the stricture in my guts, it would be incredible. I'd finally be able to come off this ultra low fibre/residue diet which is very restricting and kicks my as along with the ME. I don't know anything for sure yet, but it's hopeful news. @Rob, my dad had a similar operation for his ulcerative colitis and it all went very well. I wish to join you in your quiet optimism -- fingers crossed!
In a much better place than a few days ago. Sometimes it's best to bury a dream, such as when it has outlived its possibility of fulfillment.
