I'd never noticed it until last night, though I've heard that song hundreds of times. It just got me to thinking.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
Kind of shaken up. Not sure why Christian proselytizers get to me so much. At my PT session at SDSU, a young man approached me and enthusiastically asked me how I'd been. He said that he had worked with me 5 years ago, which is plausible. I guess he looke familiar somehow, because I introduced myself, and asked him how he'd been. At that point, he just said he was awesome or ecstatic or some such. And he had a really severe smile on his face. Very enthusiastic about something.
Then he shouted out that he was so happy because the Lord was present (or some such. I can't remember what he said about the Lord). He asked me whether he could pray for me. I said that I am an Atheist. He said that that was OK. He loved praying for atheists. He proceeded to put his hands on my shoulder and call out some prayer, after which I just ran on into the exam room. The lab teachers, much to my surprise, did walk up to me and asked what had happened, and then said that he had bugged some other people in the hallway who were waiting for their PT as well. Nobody seemed to know who he was, and he obviously faked ever being a PT student. I guess time will see how this all pans out.

That's a bummer. I do not like anyone touching me without my permission, nor freaks who feel compelled to public displays of piety using me.
Being touched without permission can give me a panic attack.

I'm usually pretty relaxed about it, but there's been a time or two it liked to get someone more touching than they'd planned.
Just don't touch my throat, hypothetical person, and you'll be fine, hypothetical person. I'd rather be kicked in the bollocks than have you touch my throat without my permission, hypothetical person.
I'm feeling alright.
As for my own feelings, I'm in the Happy Groove. There's a song bubbling inside me somewhere too ... that's always a good day.
