Feeling great, just got done jamming along with songs from Paranoid from the Sabs, and A Farewell to Kings from Rush. My guitar amp will only distort that much by cranking it, so I had to really turn up my stereo.
By the time I was done, I was smelling a little something funny, so I followed my nose. I sure enough found the source -- one of the stereo's speakers was overworked, that whiff of insulation warming up. I'll have to upgrade them, no doubt. But it's a good day for an old rock-n-roller when the equipment fails before the rocker does. By the way -- Rush, WTF is up with "Xanadu"?
