How's Everyone Feeling Right Meow?

I could not sleep past 3:30am last night, and I have been paying for it. All. Day.

I'd rather change 10 dirty poopy diapers then one bout of puking. *shudder* I gotta say though, it's SOOO nice when they learn to poop in the toilet by themselves. Potty training can be tough (with boys, anyway), but it's such a triumph when they get it. But yeah. Puke is much worse than dirty diapers. Oh, our eight-year-old got what his younger brother had, but it came on at school. I had to go pick him up. God it's sad seeing a kid sick It only lasted about a day though, and I got him a Rainbow Dash beanie baby to celebrate when he was well enough to go shopping with me.

We bought him a toddler potty (he turned two in August) and I know it's still early, but I just have this feeling it's going to be a nightmare. He will only sit on it if he's wearing a pamper; never bare-bottomed, which leads me to believe he's well aware of what I expect him to do on it, lol. He also really enjoys filling it up with elbow macaroni. [emoji41]

He'll say something to you before he goes -- tell him to do so. That's how we trained my son ... took four ot five days. I had him watch it once or twice day for a few days, in place of a "good" show. He absolutely hated it; It drove him up a wall. I know he started going to the bathroom regularly, just so he wouldn't have to watch the video. The worst, (best) song is at 9:30: "Super Duper Pooper". |
