What is your most ideal look for a man and woman?

I'm not saying that I would be more self-conscious than anyone else; anecdotal reports from counselors, therapists and psychologists say that everyone pretty much has the same worry in this respect. But I do quite routinely dine on fillet of foot which is part of why I don't talk a lot in group situations. One-on-one is different because I feel obligated to hold up my side of a conversation.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Women: almost all! I've been noticing that most women are pretty. Yes, there are a few that stand out, but... at this moment in media-history, there are already so many of them that I can't pick one. However, there are a few special ones
Yes, Megan Fox is nice...
Zooey Deschanel has those mesmerizing eyes.
Jennifer Love-Hewitt is nice, yes... very nice:

also, Morena Baccarin. I first saw her on V (the 2008 version) and then on Firefly O.O

Speaking of firefly, I'd expect to see someone enjoying this gent:

From the other person's perspective (especially you fellas) it would be something like expecting this:

And getting this:

Tongue

Somehow, that second one doesn't have much similarities with:

Although, the first one... Wink

Yeah hehe. Anyway it's absolutely fine if you'd never want to meetup with anyone from AF.

Speaking for myself, I'm pretty confident that if you ever did want to meet me in future it would all go swimmingly. I was really nervous about meeting Poca (hence one of the reasons I prepared with 3 double espressos) but it went really really well.

Why do beautiful people tend to think of themselves as not so beautiful? Huh

I agree, but come to think of it I think that applies to most people regardless of whether most people would consider them beautiful or not.

It seems that being very beautiful isn't recognizable to the beautiful person. It's hard to see your own beauty.

As for myself: When I look at myself I don't see beauty or ugliness much, just neutrality.

Neutrality... yeah... it's something you live with everyday, so it becomes the norm.

My tastes are out of date in the 'curvy' era, but I always liked the leggy slender girls with big eyes/smiles/laughs.

Julia Roberts being my favorite. Anne Hathaway is probably my 'younger' favorite.

Similar with guys back when actors were a little more normal human shaped. I'd say Kevin Costner in his heyday. Pierce Brosnan was stupid good looking. Mel Gibson was a good looking guy.

And I don't shy away from the brainy type either.

Mike North from Outrageous Acts of Science would do just fine.
