Paul Ryan Balks Over Blocking Gun Sales To People On Terror Watch List

Being on a watch list doesn't mean you are guilty of anything. Denying a constitutional right just because some government dip shit suspects you smell funny isn't right. Really, if they think you are a fucking terrorist they need to pick you up and interrogate you.

The GOP-run House has not held any votes on major gun control measures since the killings of 26 children and adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, in 2012.
House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., did not respond directly when asked Thursday if he favored barring people on the watch list from buying guns, saying, "We are just beginning this process of reassessing all of our security stances."
The National Rifle Association signaled this week it will oppose Feinstein's bill, as it did those before it.

There are already a fuck ton of gun control laws on the books. Why can't do they need more laws when they don't enforce current ones worth a shit?

And there you see the mentality of why nothing can be done to solve the daily carnage that is 'Murrica.

Of course it was hilarious.  The shooters were white guys.  It's amazing that one was actually killed.  Remember the crazy cop that jumped up on the hood of the car with the black man and woman in it and filled them full of lead?  They were unarmed.   So here the cops are with a gang on white killers and barely manage to kill one of them ten feet in front of them.  And they let one escape without getting and description or even giving the guy a paper cut.  It's triple hilarious!!!

The cops were the ones who claimed that there was a third person in the vehicle that got away without getting a nick on him.  Were they lying or are they incompetent?  We know that they lie about every case from coast to coast and from border to border.  Isn't it amazing how they always manage to fill unarmed blacks with lead but they always have trouble killing actual armed white murderers, even in a shootout?

Everybody and his brother will be making excuses for the shooters in the next five minutes.  Stay tuned.

Here's the thing... you can put all the gun laws you want into place. At the end of the day, ask yourself, a criminal is a criminal for what primary reason?

Criminals don't obey laws.

You do realize this actually happened, right? You do realize that people are dead, right? You understand this isn't a movie, correct?

I didn't make any disparaging comments about the dead and injured victims at the center.  My comments were directed at the shootout at the killers' vehicle by the cops.  I stand by those comments without apology.  

People get killed all across America 24/7/365 by all kinds of killers who have all kinds of motives.  That will continue for the foreseeable future pretty much without interruption.  What's noteworthy is how the cops treat the white killers with kid gloves compared to how they treat a black guy selling a single cigarette on a NYC street corner.

Because while there are criminals, there are decent people who choose to follow the laws. That's the short answer.

I don't know what the long answer is. It's obviously way more complicated than what I could explain.

It's the Moses complex.  Every conceivable act known to man has been, is, or will be illegal somewhere in America.  They think that if they pass another five million laws and regulations that everything will finally be perfect.  It didn't work for Moses and it won't work for them.
