Why I Can No Longer be an Atheist

RE: Why I Can No Longer be an Atheist
Rhonda, to extrapolate your concept further, aren't we all characters created by God.
I bet none of your characters know "Rhonda". They just go about their daily lives as we do...

It's in our nature to "not believe" in something we can't know anything about!
The new sandbox algorithms has done away with our "edge of reality".
They're tricky bastards alright. Luckily we've widened up to them.
One day, your characters with ignore what you write and rebel, mark my words!
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

That's odd. Didn't Zeus say the same thing after he married Hera?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

Not to worry Rhonda, since I'm not directly affected by your divinity and kinda busy leading the charge in the War On Christmas, no hate here c: love you too

We're both generals in that war, Conrad.
Love those stealth bombers and drones. Send them back to their churches and Christians forums with Agent Orange.

They're already rebelling. I've already had to change stuff when one character put his foot down and refused to do what I told him and another character reminded me of something I had him say ten chapters ago.

But one day the bad guy will rebel against his death when I'm the one who made him bad. Then I'll just have to be mean and nasty.

Dodgy  What are you trying to do -- blow my cover? Hush now! It's bad enough living in the Bible Belt without it getting out that I'm actually a neglected pagan deity.

Do you know Gaarder's "Sophies World"?

Just finished Sophie’s World.

How did you know I would appreciate a book that both entertains and teaches? Of course, this is fiction so I don’t know where the author may have taken liberties with the facts. For instance is it true that life (DNA) could not develop on a planet where there is oxygen, so once the Earth got its atmosphere no more life can happen?

I also finished the chapter where I describe the photons inside a particle collider being transformed into electrons and positrons. I think you will like the way I fantasized the facts that you gave me. I stuck as close to those facts as possible, so everything is absolutely true but totally false.

Caveat: when I say “finished," I mean the first draft. Nothing is ever finished until I decide to just send it off for publishing.

Nice! If you feel like sharing bits i'd like that, though I don't know how much time for reading I have.
I'm still proofreading our 550pp tome, increasingly frustrated because I want to get going with other projects!

I’d like to share it with you and I will, but not yet. You must complete your work. Then we will both have something to be proud of. Besides in 10 more drafts, the chapter will be different from this first draft. I’ll sell no wine before its time.
