Im sorry to say he was a Roman Catholic, and believed in some pretty unfortunate things.
Nevertheless, he believed in Jesus as well, so he is saved!
Atheists keep looking for miracles, evidence of God. Well what about him and his stigmata? Apparently he received (a likeness) of Jesus' five wounds! He could bilocate, people could see him different places!
He was a mystic too, and had insight that not even clever "science" could match.
He actually fought demons, and some even appeared to him in the guise of immodest and evil women. But he believed and fought them off!
What do you all think of this righteous man?

Proof of a Miracle?

You read it and think its real. You're both fucked as far as I can see.

You simply do not have any disinterested observers (say, scientists) who are willing to vouch for any of the "miracles" of Padre Pio. How about the Miracle of Calanda: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_of_Calanda Here's the big problem with this "miracle," which is one of the most well-attested from history: Where's Pellicer's body? Miguel Juan Pellicer died after Galileo Galilei (who died six or so years after the supposed "miracle"), and yet Galileo, a reconciled heretic to the Church, had a Mass of Christian burial and his body was buried in a basilica, only to be reburied later on, absent some fingers and a tooth: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_Galilei#Death Where is Pellicer's body??? To suggest that the Catholic Church would not preserve the remains of someone who was bestowed one of grandest miracles in the history of the Church is just absurd. Someone knew something. As for Padre Pio, I think that his so-called stigma was self-inflicted and the legends surrounding him were just pure embellishments.
