Some god. Fucker.

If anything if a god does exist said god doesn't give a fuck about anyone to be honest.

At least a god too lofty or majestic to give a fuck would make sense to me -- much more so than the bipolar Jewish mother of a god depicted in the Bible.

After everything I've done for you, including hanging on a cross for you, this is the way you treat me? What are you doing in the bathroom with the door closed? Oh, that I should have lived to see how you've turned out! You're an animal, you know that? An animal!

Reminds me of this:

If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Piety, By Brian37 (AKA Brian James Rational Poet on Facbook, and @brianrrs37 on twitter)

Oh grand Phallus

You live

In a palace

Wearing your phony crown

But atoms and quarks

Defy your remarks

For in the end

We lose all sound

The sun will expand

Making coal of the land

And with it too

The myth you spew

Impressed not the least

With your strut

Impoverished player

Reality guts

In gaps you fill

With magical spells

Wane through generations

Morphing into newer fables

Beseeching is reason

You can't hold hostage

Free from your shackles

My mind grasps knowledge

Transparent friends

Fall prey to truth

Your god is not needed

And neither are you

(end)

If people really wanted to end wars they would kill the politicians that advocate for wars and the arms merchants that make munitions. Who is making all of those RPGs and ammo that flood the various war zones? Eliminate the sources.

Sounds nice, but how would that work, because you'd have to advocate violence to stop violence?

The Bible has several stories about that.  King Asa simply killed all of the malcontents and then had peace.  Why should 7 billion people have to put up with the BS from a handful of greedy homicidal maniacs who inflict pain and suffering on 7 billion people?

Hollywood has made thousands of movies that examine that question.  H.L. Mencken provides the answer:
"The great masses of men, though theoretically free, are seen to submit supinely to oppression and exploitation of a hundred abhorrent sorts. Have they no means of resistance? Obviously they have. The worst tyrant, even under democratic plutocracy, has but one throat to slit. The moment the majority decided to overthrow him he would be overthrown. But the majority lacks the resolution; it cannot imagine taking the risks."

That's why a handful of terrorists can take over a country of tens of millions of cowardly people.  They would rather collaborate with their oppressors rather than risk their necks fighting them for their freedom.

Problem is always point of view, on top of evolution not caring about who wins, friend or foe

That would be a refreshing change. But only funny if they keep not listening to him.
