I was with my GF at a bar in Vegas and sat near some inebriated Canadians; struck up a conversation. They were all wearing Motorhead t-shirts and had just seen them play in Vegas (this was last summer).
Me, being a not very metal looking guy, nor Canadian, nor was my gf, were not impressive to drunk Canadians. Until, I told them I saw Motorhead open for Metallica at the Long Beach Arena during the And Justice for All tour. It was like I became a metal demi-god in their previously non-doting but now impressed eyes.
As is well-known, it's not easy to impress a drunken Canadian, unless you play professional hockey, buy them a drink or have seen Motorhead in their prime.
