RIP Lemmy Kilmister
#11
RE: RIP Lemmy Kilmister
I was with my GF at a bar in Vegas and sat near some inebriated Canadians; struck up a conversation. They were all wearing Motorhead t-shirts and had just seen them play in Vegas (this was last summer).

Me, being a not very metal looking guy, nor Canadian, nor was my gf, were not impressive to drunk Canadians. Until, I told them I saw Motorhead open for Metallica at the Long Beach Arena during the And Justice for All tour. It was like I became a metal demi-god in their previously non-doting but now impressed eyes.

As is well-known, it's not easy to impress a drunken Canadian, unless you play professional hockey, buy them a drink or have seen Motorhead in their prime.

I suspected something was amiss after hearing he wasn't attending birthday bashes.

I also read a report that the Rainbow allowed him to take the video game machine to his apartment.

Motorhead, and especially Lemmy, almost single-handedly got me through every breakup I had just before or during college. When life sucks, fucking scream and shout, and it looks a lot better!

You forgot excessive beer consumption.

But yeah, many a "Fuckin' A" has been uttered, and many devil hands displayed, by Canadians with regard to Motorhead.

The prophecy has been fulfilled.

He was in fact killed by death!
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
