Listening to a playlist of the best of the Dave Matthews Band. I stayed away from him because he was popular, but I rather liked Under The Table And Dreaming.

Just discovered this group. The best way of describing the way it sounds like to me is a Mongolian analogue of a mix between Fairport Convention and Rammstein.

I have a friend from Mongolia that I play LOL with sometimes-- he's a middle or high school kid, I believe, but he's been on their version of Idol himself. He turned me on to a similar band a couple years ago. Maybe it was this one, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't this song.
Badass. I love Austin Wintory’s music. Best appreciated with the games they are composed for, of course.

This was in my YouTube Subscriptions. Most of the video might not be much of a draw for those of us who aren't fans of Cigar Box Guitar videos, but then he takes out the drill... (fast-forward to 6:45 for the relevant scene):
And this one came in my dream last night. If any part of this usually resonates with me, it's the intro. But, for some reason, the chorus was playing as I was riding a bike down a hill, passing Disneyland. And to make it even more geographically weird, I had just escaped evil rednecks with thick Boston Southie accents. Yes, Boston rednecks. A bike ride away from Anaheim. From a guy who's been west of the Mississippi exactly once in his life (and then, it was in Vegas.)

Recently discovered Connie Converse. She was a singer-songwriter who managed to go to Greenwich Village and do the whole singer-songwriter thing before Dylan hit it big. In fact, the same year Dylan came to New York, she left because her career was going nowhere. But before she left, she managed to record 18 of her songs, and this was one of them (and it was recorded by Gene Dietch, who would later become infamous for making some of the worst Tom and Jerry cartoons ever).
And then, 13 years after moving back with her parents, she packed her belongings into her VW Beetle and drove away. She has not been heard from since...
