The A Team, a downside to the show/OP ED
January 1, 2016 at 2:22 pm
Still love the show. But, is it really about protecting someone from bullies? Or is it a corporate show using the bullied motif to use protect big business by getting small businesses to blindly side with them? No not a conspiracy, but it does sell the idea that merely owning a business makes one moral. It sells the business owner as the definition of moral. Nothing is all or nothing to me. Business is needed yes, but far too many in society allow themselves to be fooled that title and paycheck and business ownership makes one moral.
Am I the only one who sees the flaw in the series motif?

Let's all pretend the show is still running. Or let's start the A team for ourselves.

But right now, they're threatening us with a rehash on German tv. I'm not even sure, if it's not some straight to video movie, since the trailer doesn't show Peppard.

I bet you ten euros that it will be worse than the original.

One has to wonder if that is even possible.

Have you seen the trash reboots coming out of Hollywood? Like how could anything be worse than the original "Land of the Lost"? Somehow, they succeeded.

No, I'm privileged. I haven't seen a single Uwe Boll movie either.
But what I did see, as long as I could stand it, was the rehash of the British series "Life on Mars". Needless to say, the charm of the original got entirely lost in translation.
