I hope the Discovery Channel keeps their word.
This article says that big changes are coming to that network and they are moving away from junk to real science. I hope they do it and mean it.

Thanks for this Brian. I may keep an eye on future programming having long since written them off.

This month is sad in Discovery Land. The final season of Mythbusters. I hope it is epic.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Now if the History Channel were to air history instead of hystery, I'm tempted to call that a miracle.

No. While I know Adam and Jaime would probably do it, I think Discovery wouldn't allow it. Not good fer bizness.

Animal Planet pissed me off putting on "Finding Big Foot".

I didn't mind "Fatal Attractions" because it basically taught the viewer "HEY MORON, wild animals are not pets, don't be fucking stupid"

The two stories I remember were the stupid woman thought it would be fun to have a cobra as a pet. Then the other idiot who thought it would be fun to have 3 Komodo dragons.
