Going to replay Witcher III due to its PS5 Next-Gen update.

Started on Roots of Pacha which came out yesterday on Steam and has been sitting in my wishlist for ages. It's a Stardew-esque cozy game of farming, fishing, taming animals etc set in the stone age. It's looking good so far and apparently it has no combat, which for this sort of game, I think is a plus.

I've been playing Diablo 2: Resurrected. I'm pretty bored with the titles I have on Xbox and there's nothing new to me that is interesting enough to bother with.

I'm thinking about getting a Steam Deck next time I'm in the USA, I have quite a few games I have never played on Steam.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for XBOX was on sale, as well as all the Don't Starve games, so I bought both. Knights is supposed to be one of the best RPG's made, and Don't Starve has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. They dropped the price on my memory expansion for my XBOX by $40 off what I paid a month ago, so I returned the unopened one I had and repurchased it for $40 cheaper. It's time to open it, seeing as it's no longer a cash purchase that I can return for moolah and the $150 for the thing was paid using a credit card.

I got a $30 Best Buy gift card free with a purchase earlier this week, and Best Buy sells XBOX gift cards in a wide range of denominations. And coincidentally, Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a AAA title that I am interested in, is on sale for $20. I haven't decided to pull the trigger yet. Like with Steam, I've got so many games already that thee's no real point in buying more.

And Microsoft redid their XBOX web store front. You can no longer select a filter to have it show you only the games which are on sale. It kind of sucks. I guess I'll have to browse for deals on the console itself which still retains that function.

I got a $30 Best Buy gift card with my subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal, so I bought $35 worth of XBOX gift cards from Best Buy, and bought Guardians of the Galaxy and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous with the funds. I need to install my memory expansion card, too. I'm still playing Ori and the Blind Forest, but I'm on the last level and am missing something because I don't know what to do next. I've completed most of the rooms on the final level, and the remaining rooms are blocked off. Time to cheat with a Walk-through.

Going to try to play Far Cry 5. I'm typically not a fan of the first person perspective in gaming, finding it difficult and annoying, and I usually stop playing after the first few minutes. But, why not let insanity make me think this time will be any different, right?

I'm on the final timed run on Ori and the Blind Forest. I get to a certain point in the run and am not sure how to beat that segment. Seeing as it takes about 5-10 runs to get to that point once, I could be working on that a long time. In the meantime, I bought a bunch of new games on Memorial Day -- celebrating the holiday, I suppose. Anyway, I've got so many games now that I hardly spend a lot of time with any one game, but Ori and Trine have been the most frequent. I picked up Railroad Empire complete for cheap; it's not really my forte, but I'm going to push through the initial resistance if I can. Beyond that, I had a favorable impression of the few minutes I spent in Hitman, and while I don't care for the difficulty level, I like the art and battle mechanics in Darkest Dungeon, so that's on the agenda.
