That is the appeal to popularity fallacy.
It doesn't matter how many people believe something, that doesn't make it true. There are all sorts of reasons people believe fantastical things, not least of which is indoctrination and societal pressure.
It's one of religion's greatest weapons, that fallacy, because people fall for it so frequently. It's also clearly refuted by the fact the bible "is true" by the same logic, and this is a contradiction.
The logic in the Quran is very simple. Brainwash people into submission and into a specific mindset. But then, I'm only at the start so far. I'm sure it will get worse. I thought the bible was the most sickening read of all time, but it looks like it could get edged out.
