No, to be honest I really don't see any point in such chest-beating at all. I think this is a rare Pollyenna moment for you to presume you know everyone in your life so well, when depression still carries enough of a social stigma that people don't freely discuss their personal status on that.

Pool said he's never met an American who don't take these meds. I was assuring him that there are plenty of us who don't. And yes, I do know that all these people I listed have never taken them.

The original idea started off good, then everything went to shit. Look at it now, displaced people every where you look; an education system that strips away free though and expression. The country does offer a lot of choices and chances to others, in a lot these chances given you have sell your ethics to the American power brokers to make it in this country. What does making it in a country mean? Does it entail a good job with great benefits while not swimming in your financial mistakes, only to attempt happiness which results in failure. Then she runs you over and puts the car in reverse to make sure she did a good job taking everything she can in the divorce? Or does it have a other meaning, that only the few make it and rest have to salvage a living from so called job creators?
