How do you reach those conclusions exactly? She said most people don't intentionally get fat. I think how we define intention here is crucial, and besides, this was an empty claim about most people's state of mind and/or about their health.
In which way exactly did I set out to villify her in any way by pointing that out? Why do you think I'm a rage-junkie and what do you mean by that? How do you reach the conclusion that I'm not interested in civil discussion? How was I not civil in this thread, exactly, or elsewhere, for that matter?

We usually try not to each other get "set in our ways". He like to introduce me to crazy new physical activity. I like to drag him more multicultural and upscale places. (He whines but it's usually a 50/50 toss up as wether he'll like it). He keeps from having too many princess moments. (I come from a higher socioeconomic background and often have a hard time adjusting to all this being poor stuff). And I often remind him to rethink certain things when it comes to race, gender, and disability. And remind him that I yes I do have limits. He keeps me from being an utter brat. And I remind him to think before saying something loud or rude. We have have our teaching moments.
