US religionists don't know how good they have it.
Boru Oh they know, and when it serves their purpose tell everybody how popular they are, they'll bring up your statistics quick enough. They just find it equally useful to be perceived as persecuted.

At least you get to eat the cereal. Nothing says 'theology' like vitamin-enriched bits of cardboard.

They're only whining if it's about their own brand of whoo. If it's about another religion, all bets are off. Puts things in perspective on what they consider liberty.

T'was a favorite sport of ours when school forced us to attend mass. How often can you get away with getting communion. We didn't eat them all, since they're pretty tasteless. Most of them ended up in the gutter, after counting to nominate the winner.

I vol'ed to be alter boy as often as possible (til I left). The church served the wine in little shot glasses. Lots of people just touched their lips and left the rest. It was up to the alter boy to empty the non drank shots into the sacred mason jar. Yeah-right. I did me some fine communin I'll tell you what!

That'll be the day atheists do more damage to religion than the slackers and scripture cherry pickers in the midst of the 'religiosites' themselves have done.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

LOL mh!!!! Many times I have been asked to help the sacristans after Mass . . . this meant emptying the unused communion wine. I made sure they knew that I would be around, working, if they needed help. I DID tick off one church boss, once - we were both "helping", and I commented that it was a great job . . . ha! . . . but I was heading to another church anyway. Yep. If you know JUST when and where to hang around, after Mass . . . free wine, woo-hoo!

Of course atheists are primary villains. By existing they show that space wizard isn't something that everyone need, but rather crutch to those afraid of taking responsibility for life.
As for persecution - fan-club of something called god is used to get everything so any case of sheep not getting what they want can be called persecution by said sheep.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

Good point. Most believers cherish religious freedom so much that they want to keep it all for themselves.
