Precisely. All Christians are doing, when trying to prove their God is real, is to try and convince me they are worshipping a real evil being rather than a figment of their imagination. Either way, it's not going to sway me one bit into doing the same.

I wouldn't worship a wonderful, benevolent, kind God, so I don't know why they think I'd worship a genocidal maniac.
