Can Trump Win....
|
The GOP for 35 years has successfully used the same tactics that gutted what was built after WW2. The tactic is simple. Create a needless problem that causes workers to be financially unstable, create social tension, and use fear to keep them dependent so the top can continue to profit off of cheaper labor, and sell them the idea that only the rich are the masters of our society. The more society accept that tactic as the scam it is, the sooner we can undue the mess Reagan started.
Trickle-down reminds me of the old anecdote about a republican and democrat walking down the street, and the Republican gives the homeless man $50, while the Democrat takes $50 out of the Republican's pocket to give to the homeless man.
Here's what trickle-down can best be described as: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are walking down the street, when they encounter a homeless man who asks for $50.00 so he can feed his family. Hilllary takes $50 out of her pocket, and hands to the man. She then directs him to where he can apply for benefits so he doesn't have to beg for money to get food for his family. Donald Trump, not wanting to be outdone, takes $50 out of Hillary's pocket, and keeps all of it. He then tells the homeless man that it'll eventually trickle down to him.

Well, diarrhea trickles down. I think that's trickle down and it's value in a nutshell.

We don't have a "Damned Donald Trump" topic, but here we go:
http://www.lgbtqnation.com/2016/09/donal...fense-act/ Yeah, he's so pro-gay, he wants to make sure federal employers can discriminate against gay people. I'm sure Trump supporters will love this, especially the religious wackos.

I am really fucking sick of people getting stuck on individuals when it takes a 3 branch system where no one person solely makes policy. The parties are not the same. The only thing dems as politicians can be accused of in that 36 years is allowing the GOP to control the narrative which has caused our politicians to compromise too much. As voters we are also responsible for mid term apathy which has allowed the GOP in that 36 years a majority of gerrymandering districts. AS voters we have the right ideas. We value equal pay for women, and reproductive autonomy. We value livable wages and affordable health care and higher education. We value social pluralism. The GOP and the 1% are the only ones to blame for 36 years of fear mongering, first with cold war garbage, but eventually adding to it religion and race and guns. The GOP has held the nation hostage and pulled the left to the center right in that time. Hillary is not the problem, if Bernie had won the nomination and became president he would still be stuck dealing with the same obstructionist GOP. If we are to fix things one office will not be a cure all, it has to go in combo with creating a state and congressional mass that president can work with. Get the fucking GOP assholes out of office and give the president a congress they can work with. RE: Can Trump Win....

Okay, I think this is my favorite leak of the whole campaign. I can't stop laughing.
