And when was this?  What was the average class size?  When did politically-motivated budget cuts start in your school district.  The real assault on the public school system began in reaction to the Bush recession.  Kids who entered first grade in 2008 are now in middle school.  They have never known anything but austerity.

My wife and I both worked and managed to get our two through school but that was in the 80's long before any of this shit started except maybe the "self-esteem" movement.

Yep. They keep trying to make legal vs illegal the issue. Keep forgetting ignoring or just don't care that legal at the time of purchase doesn't prevent you from hurting yourself or killing your neighbor after a legal buy. The legality of the gun doesn't change the use of a gun is still more likely to injure someone you know. The stranger protection is a minority of use. He doesn't want to face the amount of gun injury and death is due to ease of access of guns and our flooded market, which is protected by the corporate lobby NRA who doesn't give one fuck who guns hurt.

He lives in a delusional world where guns shit rainbows and everyone is Roy Rogers or Dirty Harry.
