I wouldn't go as far as schizophrenia, at least not in a majority of cases. They are a culturally acceptable fantasy delusion, up to a point.

The devil? Oh yeah. That weird red puppet with Yahweh's hand up his butt. The guy God gave extra powers to so he could go fuck over a perfectly decent man as part of a dick waving contest.

The guy Yahweh could easily stop from interfering any time, but mysteriously doesn't.

Nope, haven't seen him. Although rumour has it he killed God and has been impersonating him for a long time. No one seems to have noticed.
