Revelation 20 gives a scenario at the very last point of human history. We see that there is a system in place that mandates you worship its leader or beheads you for refusing. Sounds like fundamentalist Islam to me. Who else is beheading these days? So if the Bible is referring to Islam, then I'd say there is nothing you can do to stop it.

I've never been a date setter for the end of the world. Besides, the third temple has to be rebuilt in Jerusalem and there has to be a global government and unified economic system before the end comes.
