You know, it's for this reason that over the past couple years, I've seriously looked into moving to more liberal countries. The problem is, a lot of other countries require you to speak a different language, plus it would probably be expensive. Really though, there's been too many times where I've just been sad, sad beyond words about the sort of things that happen in our country. 

I'm surprised that I didn't feel more distraught when I saw the news about the pro lgbt discrimination bill in Mississippi and North Carolina. I think at this point I'm just trying to say no, I'm not going to let it bother me. It gives me great, great pain and sorrow though, when I look at the sad state of our country. I'm just trying to avoid becoming depressed and losing my peace of mind.

I'm just trying to avoid that, enough is enough. I'm tired of the pain of it all, to hell with politics. It's not my job to fight against those deplorable scum bags, I didn't ask for any of this. In fact, I never even asked to be born, yet I have to push against the complete pointlessness of life every single day. Sometimes it's difficult to even find the motivation to do anything, really. It's hard to see the point.

But it's fine. I just wish that those horrible, horrible people would realize what they're actually doing, and how it hurts so many people. I can only imagine how many lgbt have committed suicide because of this... actually I better not think about that.

We live in a democracy, the people who we want to overthrow are elected by the same people who support them.

The House does look steep, but don't they hold elections every 2 years? With a dedicated effort, the majority could still change or shift drastically by the end of the next presidential term. Yes, Gerrymandering makes that harder, but if it were a perfect system then party majorities would literally never change. If the voters decide to get together and do something, they actually kind of can. Our democracy sucks, but it hasn't been totally demolished yet.

If you really have surrendered to the status quo and will vote for the safest candidate just because you think the better one can't win, you are part of the problem. That's pretty much exactly what every establishment politician wants you to do. It's almost as good as just taking your vote away.

Something that's been really inspiring me lately is the public backlash from the Mississippi laws. Billboards going up, businesses taking a stand and states themselves banning state sponsored travel to Mississippi. I'm proud of the actions being taken.

I have a question for you.  If you are watching TV and an advertisement comes on for a car make that you have never owned before telling how great this fucking car is do you accept everything in the ad at face value and run right out and buy one?

If not, why do you cum in your pants over a political ad which is essentially lies concocted by one side about the other? 

I do not listen to ads.  The moment one comes on the mute button gets hit.  Sometimes I forget to turn the sound back on for an hour or so and find that I miss comparatively little.

I despise Drumpf because he is a fucking scumbag not because Ted Cruz ran ads against him.  And I consider Cruz a little jesus cock-sucking piece of shit but I had reached that conclusion long before Trump decided to run.

Similarly, I don't give a flying fuck what Sanders says about Clinton and vice versa.  It's all just advertising man and its all horseshit.
