This thread is for every style of Jazz, old to contemporary and Big Band.....I'm into more like Candy Dulfler, David Sanborn, Manhattan Transfer, Harry Connick, but have listened to Stan Getz which is more old school. This thread is open to all types. But here is my favorite big band song and soundtrack from the TV show Moonlighting.

As a kid in the 80's, I listened to a lot of smooth jazz/new age (we had a station in San Diego for that). It's what my peers' parents were listening to, and I always thought the parents were way cooler than anybody my age that I had to hang out with.
